Great monitor - very poor speakers

Using this with a new Mac mini. I can scarcely believe the poor sound quality of the monitors built in speakers.My wife describes them an "tinny". The speakers should be a total embarrassment for the company - simply no excuse in this day and age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Viewsonic monitor. The first is a #VG2230wm is close to 15 years old and still performing as good as the first day I bought it. That initiself is a testimonial to Viewsonic period! Reliability! I like the the size of the 32 inch screen and the ability to split the screen into multiple screens. The fact that my desktop computer is probably an analog; This model VX3211-2K-mhd will sync analog now and when I upgrade to a digital computer it has the ability to sync to 2560 X 1440 resolution; A big, big, plus! The bonus was the IPS panel!. I am not a gamer and at 78 years young,; If this monitor last anywhere close to my first one it will probably outlast me. I worked in quality control with GM and I was impressed with the outside physical construction of this monitor.It felt quality when I first pulled it out of the box. No assembly! wonderful! Viewsonic is a. upscale product. Thank you for your reliability. Al Rosin
