Perfect complement to my MacBook Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a killer monitor. It is hard to tell the difference between my Retina screen and this one. It looks amazing. The stand it comes with is very smooth. You can move the screen with one finger. I opted to put it on the wall for my standing desk. I love everything about it. The size, resolution, controls and connection options. The controls are touch sensitive right on the monitor. Just tap one of the dots and the menu pops up making it easy to change any setting. It has a ton of connection options but I use the USB C, which is ideal for the MacBook. I only wish I would have gotten this monitor sooner. Highly recommended.

Amazing 4k 27" Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Depending on time of year and client base, I process thousands of photos per month. I've had a few weeks working with this monitor at this point. I truly cannot find anything negative to say about this monitor. So much that I'm looking to purchase a second 2785. Color accuracy and contrast out of the box was fantastic. The screen is incredibly sharp with brightness and contrast control that is so much better than my previous monitor, I am very pleased. Other than the quality of screen, the monitor is also packed with plenty of connections, such as DisplayPort, HDMI and USB 3.1 type C ports. Stand is quite adjustable for both height and its ability to rotate. Although the screen isn't quite edge to edge, the bezel is very tight, wasting very little space. Truly an amazing monitor for photo and video.

Fantastic picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice monitor. The picture on it is incredible. Its has a nicer picture than my television does. It has a real clear and crisp picture and has HDR color so the colors on it are out of this world. Its great for playing games on. It has a lot of features on it also. It has USB ports on it which i usually use to charge my phone. It has multiple HDMI ports so you can plug multiple things in at the same time and still get the good quailty picture. I even like the swivel mount it comes with. It's easy to move the monitor into different positions without a struggle. It also spins so you can position your monitor any way you want

Hardware Calibration Software does not work with M1 Macs.

I have been using this monitor for over a year. I am an engineer and a creative using this monitor in a dual boot Windows and Mac configuration. The bulk of my engineering work is performed in Windows while all of my creative works are performed on an M1 MacBook Pro. The monitor works flawlessly with Windows. However, I perform all of my creative work on my M1 MacBook Pro. The Calibration + software which is used to perform hardware calibrations STILL, after 9 months, does not run on M1 Macs. Not only does the software not run natively on M1 Macs but it also does not run in Rosetta. In fact, the Calibration+ software cannot even be installed because the installer cannot be opened because it is "from an unidentified developer". This monitor is obviously targeted for creatives and a large number of creatives work from Macs. I do not recommend buying this monitor, or any ViewSonic monitor that is reliant on the Calibration+ software, if you are running an M1 Mac. It appears that ViewSonic does not value Mac users.

Great monitor. Sharp with excellent color right out of the box (though it always helps to calibrate yourself, especially if you want to fine tune settings). A nice touch is that each monitor comes with it's own evaluation sheet that shows differences in brightness and color in multiple areas across the screen. The remarkable thing is the consistency of color and brightness. I own two of these monitor, replacing two excellent AdobeRGB monitors that were built in 2011 (time for a change). I'm very happy with these and even the price, though a little high, is lower than comparable other 4K AdobeRGB monitors on the market.
