Incompatible with M1 - Do Not Buy

This product is 100% incompatible with M1 and Viewsonic refuses to put that as a disclaimer on its pages.
I use it connected to my M1 Max Macbook Pro and it flickers uncontrollably or ghosts images. I initially thought I got a bummer unit but after spending 2 months in an RMA process, my new unit is doing the same thing. The Viewsonic reps, while nice people, have been completely unhelpful so now I'm stuck with this incompatible monitor because NOWHERE does it say incompatible with M1 - they even acknowledge that it is due to not working with the M1 hardware.
Garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
