I purchased this due of my work nature that doesn’t allow phone at all. So far the watch is great and all the apps I needed. The only downside of it is the battery life that would last all day long.

Having been a hold-out on getting an Apple Watch until now, I am definitely a happy owner. I have been wearing my now 14+ year old Seiko automatic watch daily, and loved it for it's ruggedness, looks and the fact that it has not needed any service for its entire life to date. But I'm now sold on the connectedness aspect the Watch offers and in the past week I'm already pulling out my iPhone less, especially in work situations where I need to see who is emailing or texting me without looking like a jerk by grabbing my iPhone during meetings / conversations. I'm also surprised by how much I like the lightweight aspect of the aluminum Watch. My Seiko is a heavy stainless piece, so I was always aware of it on my wrist. With the Watch, I forget it's there - and the Nike sport band with its added holes helps keep my wrist from getting hot (although it's been cold so it's less of an issue right now). Even with my using the Watch more during the day now, as I get used to what it can do for me, I'm still getting through the day with between 30% and 40% battery life remaining. And that's generally with my wearing it from 5am until 10pm. And the 30% day, included taking a couple of calls on it, as well as using Maps for directions twice, so it's definitely got enough battery life to get through a typical work day for me. If you're on the fence for getting one, I'd say take the plunge now.

Last Apple Watch was a preordered Series 1. I think every improvement I wanted has been implemented and I couldn’t be more pleased with the watch, it’s quality, form and function. I bought this watch along with a pair of ear buds.
