You can’t change the sound of your text notifications, and your phone doesn’t notify you by sound if your watch is connected. I have hearing problems and I can’t hear the text notification sound From the watch, other wise I LOVE it!

I bought the Apple Watch for my wife, she has been struggling with an Arrhythmia of the heart and fibromyalgia, and a friend of mine told me that the Apple Watch is great for monitoring heart rates, and oxygen levels, and that it also helps with breathing techniques. I was a little worried about getting this because I have never been the "watch wearing" type, or even a bracelet wearing type of girl...but I love it! The 40mm is the size of the watch face, and there are two sizes (the 40mm is the smaller one of the 5 series). I am still learning how it works, but so far it has been pretty straightforward.
One feature I like a lot is when I am in my car and have Apply Car Play on my cars screen with my phone hooked up, the watch syncs up too and when I need to turn it will vibrate and let me know, taking my eyes off the road less then if I had to look at my screen of my car. Another awesome feature is that you can make calls and text when you aren't near your phone.

The series 5 watch is really like having a computer on your wrist because of all the information it provides. I’ve had every series of the Apple Watch, and the 5 is the best of all. I particularly like that the display is always on. The health monitoring features are the best yet. I fell outside while wearing this watch, and it detected the fall and asked if I needed assistance. Just that feature alone is worth the price of the watch. I wear my watch to bed and charge it first thing in the morning. It lets me know if I had any episodes of a fib during the night. I recommend this watch to everyone...especially to older people. It will be money well spent.
