Love this Portable Washer

I live in a small one bedroom apartment so this is perfect--I do most of my wash in it then go to laundromat to dry. Yes, I do more loads due to the size but after tracking both hydro & water usage--I'm still saving enough to make it worthwhile. My only complaint is the wheels are not great--really should have larger swivel type casters-I found it hard to pull across a small carpeted area-but, it now sits on an adjustable dolly with 3" swivels & it's no problem to move.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this washing machine...

Nothing cleans like a machine with an agitator. I think this is the only one on the market that has it. No problems. I just don't use the highest fill option to avoid splashing. Other than that, my clothes, towels, linens are so clean.

I'm using washer for the first time. I wish I could find out what the different functions of the Cycle options are. What is the difference between Auto Wash and Normal? Do they both go through spin cycles? Why is the Delicate Cycle as long as the Heavy Cycle, 41 minutes (you would think that the Delicate cycle is shorter). Why would you need a No Spin cycle? I could not find any information in the "Guide". I gave it two stars for lack of information about usage.

I've used this washer for about a year and i see all it's limits. The first problem is it doesn't fill up unless you use the delicate cycle only . The agitator is very rough on clothing and also from time to time with certain fabrics will hurl water right over the side of tub as well that runs down inside the washer cabinet onto the floor. If you use the delicate cycle and press down to a lower water level setting after it's full it will slow down the agitation stroke length . But for the rinses you need to go back to the machine again and press the water level button back to high again so it will be full with water then press it down again if you want a shorter agitation stroke. The Delicate cycle is the only cycle i use that's any good if you want the truth. If you use the Auto wash, Heavy, etc it just will not fill up all the way with water and you're stuck doing a half a load of clothing at a time and it 's beating them to a fuzz ball too . So again if you want it to fill the machine all the way up with water you have to use the Delicate cycle and adjust agitation speed slower after it's full if it's too rough down to a slower stroke by pressing the water level button to a lower setting . The drain hose would be fine if it was about two feet longer . My machine is too wide to get through the bathroom door, so i had to double the drain hose and water inlet hose length so i could use it . The agitator lint filter is a complete joke and a complete waste of effort to have it there. The other manufacturer models that had the mesh filter at the top of the basket where water was burped up through that mesh filter every impeller stoke was 100% better with trapping lint . This Danby agitator lint filter is absolutely ridiculous, and useless. From time to time you will need to unscrew the bolt and lift the agitator out of the machine and remove lint , threads, fibers, and film that collects on many drain holes at the bottom of the tub over time. The machine is very reliable and operates quietly in most operating settings. The lids slams shut if you're not focused on closing it very gently or accidentally bump it , there is no see through window which is terrible and lastly i guess it would be nice to add the super spin at the start of the program instead of having to wait for it to finish first and go back to restart the machine to do the Super Spin . If one can live with those little drawbacks and work around them , then i guess it'll be worth your investment . I know Danby has a new larger impeller model washing machine out now. But not a singe video of it operating so you can view the wash performance i've been able to find ANYWHERE, and i've looked everywhere possible and so far , Nothing !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
