Purchased to replace our old full size portable. It does a GREAT job, uses less water and cleans completely. A little trouble winterizing but we are very satisfied and recommend it.

Great little dishwasher!

I've waited 3 months to write this review, so I could put it through real life usage. The little Danby does exactly what it's supposed to do, cleans my dishes! It fits very nicely in my little kitchen, loads easily, moves easily (though, it is heavy) and I have used it every other day for 3 months. Mostly it's a matter of common sense, wipe the dishes, etc. before you put them into the machine and make sure you clean the filters and spray arms. It is simple, a clean machine gives you clean dishes, guess what you'll get with a dirty machine ... dirty dishes! I love my Danby 18 inch dishwasher, and wish I bought one years ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic Dishwasher

We have had our Danby for over 11 years now and other than ordering new cutlery baskets (the bottoms seem to melt over time), we have had no issues with it - highly recommend. We are buying one for our daughter and her wife who have one child and one on the way so it will be great for them too as they don't have the room for a built in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher is a dud

Dishwasher was bought in March of 2016. Motor burned out in July of 2018.
When it worked, it was fine, but motor only lasted two years.

After 7 yrs of hand washing it a kitchen to small to support a built in dishwasher. May 2017 I purchased my small dishwasher. Runs well except failing dry cycle is useless. My major complaint is the wrestling that takes place when I need to move it in to position. The wheels seem to have a mind of there own. I often get laughed at as I try to maneuver it into position. I am 5’ and 180lbs but I often look like I’m wrestling a bear. Sigh, still better then hand washing.
I would recommend this to a friend!
