Terrible Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrible product! Barely over two years old and now has a backlight or screen issue! 3 vertical bright spots off-center right side! I have had other TVs for up to ten years without a single issue! What's up with this product! Research online shows other have had similar issues! No more LG products for me!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The price and value of this tv is really quite good. The design is simple and the set looks great. The stand makes it difficult to position a sound bar directly underneath or in front of the television. The stand looks good, but limits the tv's functionality. The picture is decent by today's standards. It's not quite as sharp as I would have liked it. The picture does not look as nice as the image shown for the website. It does not have the picture wizard feature despite it being advertised. The screen is really thin, it's the thinnest tv I have owned and it's very light as well. Makes it easy to move, mount, or place anywhere you choose. The biggest disappointment I have had with this set so far is the sound quality. It's horrible. The clear voice feature makes it a smidgen better, but not really that much. You definitely need a sound bar or external speakers to make watching tv enjoyable. The sound is moderately fine for a bedroom or light tv watching. I'm happy with the value and the price I paid for it. Needs improvement with the sound.

Great for Gaming or watching sports

I picked this tv to replace one that had burned out. Read some reviews and decided to give it a shot. I use it for TV and also for my computer monitor to game. This tv has many useful options to change the picture depending on what you are watching. Many tv's have this option but most do not change much and the options look almost the same. Not this TV!!! OMG the options make a huge difference depending on what you are watching and the GAME option is awesome, it really makes games stand out and easy to see all the details necessary when gaming (like shadows, water ripples, facial features). And the best thing about the picture options, one simple button on the remote changes the picture, no menus to dig around. I am extremely satisfied with this tv, when it is time to replace other ones I will definitely be looking at LG. I am an LG guy now and it would take a lot to make me change my mind. LG you got my vote for president!!!

Another great TV from LG

I purchased this TV for my bedroom and it has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is superb, and the sound is better than expected. In 2012, I purchased a 47" LG TV for my living room that I have been completely satisfied with. The next time I am in the market for a TV, it will definitely be an LG.
