Meets our needs

The cooktop is solidly constructed and built to last. The only aspect that we haven't figured out is how to ignite the middle burner easily/quickly. Otherwise we are very pleased with the cooktop.

Nice Cooktop

After using this cooktop for several months....here are my thoughts: The super burner in the middle works very well and the location is perfect unless you are using several other burners at once and have a larger pan on the middle burner. One of my knobs came with no markings on it...so that was missed during quality control. The knobs are very close together which makes them hard to clean around. Overall this is a great cooktop and since it is only a 30in unit...one cannot expect it to have the space of a 36". I'm happy with the purchase and it goes great with my Electrolux double oven!

Easy to clean, great heat. Would be better if "Wok" worked on the Middle (hotest) burner.
Would have been nice for the burner controls to have an LED light under the Knob ... to show it's on.

Hate the cleaning

I bought this cook top in February, love the powerful heat, but the cleaning is nasty. It takes a long time to clean and it seems like the stain just gets baked in. You would think that most stainless steels are easy to clean but not this one. It is hard to clean in between the knobs and the stain in the stainless steel basin is really hard to clean. I'm talking about cleaning right after I cook, not like I waited. The grates heat up when the center burner is used, and it is very hot all around.
I would not recommend this, and I will have to live with this for a while since the unit is not cheap.
Yes, I did follow the cleaning instruction in the booklet, the stainless steel is also very sensitive and gets scratched easily. UNLESS, Electrolux can send someone to show me how to clean it. I sure don't want to spend hours in cleaning my cook top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

When deciding which brand to go with we did a lot of research. After 6 months we were ready to choose and electrolux was the winner. The cooktop looks great and works amazing. Strong, hot flames boil water faster than ever. Very easy to install even though we are using propane. I highly recommend.
