Perfect Fit

I needed a flat screen to replace my 18-year-old 200 lb. 31" TV. After months of searching and comparing, I selected this one for it's fit, appearance, and 120 hz. refresh rate. It fits my 1996 custom built-in entertainment center with less than 1/4" to spare, and the all-black base/frame color disappears into the background so we just see the picture.
We're constantly amazed by the bright, clear, sharp picture quality, and for the first time ever, the cable company's remote controls the TV correctly!
Unfortunatly there are not outlets for external hearing devices, such as TV ears and etc. for hard of hearing folks. This is a bad elimination for hearing empaired.
Cons: needs more plug in outlets for external speakers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great TV if you only want to watch TV. As soon as you want to use the smart capabilities, you discover you can't use them because of "bad" software, lack of service and lack of information. I try to put zero starts but the minimum is 1.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not at all satisfied with this TV. The remote can control other units and I set it up to do just that. The problem with the remote is that when one turns off the TV it also turns off my DVR recorder and the cable box. The DVR and cable box needs to be on 24/7 for recording purposes. So in order to control the DVR and cable box one has to use two or more remotes. This is totally unacceptable. The TV is suppose to have the best apps available but I only found two on the list that I would ever have an interest in. No third party apps can be set up on this TV. I returned the TV the day after I purchased it.
Pros: none
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this TV last week because I have a Samsung home theater system and I wanted the Anyconnect+ feature. It says in the specs this TV has Anyconnect+ however, it does not. It also displays at 60Hz not the 120Hz. Also, this TV has a blue tint to everything. Very disappointed with this product. Our last Samsung TV had rich deep colors.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no anyconnect+, does not integrate with samsung hts
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Smart TV

Good TV for the value. Bright... but lots of pixelization/jutter during high motion stuff. Biggest complaint is it calls itself Smart Hub TV... but doesn't tell you that you can't do a camera/skype app. Bought the TV camera VG-STC4000, which on the box says is compatible with TV family H6200. (and the H6400,H6350 too!) But it doesn't work with the new 40" TV. The 40" F-Series from last year are all compatible. Yet the newer models are not. (??)
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, no camera/skype, weak app user interface, fast motion judder
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Failure of a great product

Within five (5) days this TV developed an intermittent defect which left us with a Blue screen resembling the one seen in computers called BSOD or blue screen of death. This problem manifested this symptom within 4 days of being turned on. It would appear that neither the TV or even the circuit boards went through a burn in where this defect should have been caught .Without this problem I would have given the TV an excellent overall rating. Luckily it showed on the early part of the bathtub curve where infant mortality defects show up. Store made good and allowed me to buy a more expensive model (none of the model I had bought earlier were in stock)
I think I made a great decision on purchasing this smart HD tv. I would recommend this product to family and friends. It shows a great picture and the price was wonderful. I am very satisfied with my Samsung the technology is way ahead of it's time.
