Nice tracking watch for fancier times.

I bought this for work and have the rose gold. As other reviews state, it can be difficult to read the screen in the sunlight, but overall it's decent. I wish it had GPS, for more options and that it put HR in the zones on Connect, but I learned only the high end HR watches do that.

Love the leather wrist band

This was a Mother's Day gift purchased by my son (incidentally one of Garmin's design engineers)! I like the vivomove HR since it looks and acts like a more traditional watch. It definitely looks more professional. The leather wrist band is a very nice feature.

My Vivomove HR is just right!

After using a Fitbit watch for a considerable length of time, I was somewhat apprehensive about switching to the Garmin Vivomove. Turns out that I really like the Garmin! The features are exactly what I want in a sports watch - not too many (as in complicated), and not to few. The battery life is great and the event tracking accuracy is better than my Fitbit. Overall, the ideal switch for me.

I wanted a smartwatch that had a watch face, wasn't rectangular, and tracked fitness. This hybrid watch does all that and more! I got the white band and rose gold watch face. It's the perfect size for a smaller wrist (my wrist is almost 6") and doesn't look bulky. I can wear it to work and have received lots of compliments already! It's also great for workouts since the band is a flexible and comfortable rubber material. It doesn't get in the way doing bodyweight workouts or weightlifting like my old Timex watches used to do.
It's easy to set up! The vivomove watch and Garmin app walk you through everything. My phone's (Moto G5 Plus) Bluetooth has issues sometimes so it took a awhile for the pairing but that's no fault of the vivomove. The vibrate feature on low is perfect, it wakes me up in the morning easily but doesn't noticeably vibrate at my desk or in meeting (phew!). I keep the brightness on low since I don't check the watch smart features throughout the day. Low brightness on the rose gold watch face cannot be seen while outside on a sunny or partly cloudy day, but inside it's easy to see. I do not have the phone notifications set up, so I cannot comment on that. I wear my watches on the underside of my wrist so the HR monitor has been fairly accurate for me. The accuracy of the HR feature is not as important as the steps and workout tracking though. It has accurately auto-tracked tabata, running, walking, and weightlifting activity during the week I've had it. Water droplets in the shower cause the screen to activate and swipe but it didn't alter any settings so I'm not worried about that. The sleep and stress features are nice, the spike in stress noon the watch correlates perfectly with certain events at work and the period of sleep is extremely accurate so far. The battery lasted 5 days with low brightness, morning alarms, auto-fitness tracking, and only Bluetooth syncing before work, after a workout, and before bed. It might be shorter if you use more features, like enabling phone (text/call/calendar) notifications on the watch or leave the Bluetooth on to sync throughout the day. It charges quickly though, by the time you make a meal it's already done!
It's everything I wanted and I make the features work for me. I spent months comparing different kinds of watches and this simple vivomove HR won me over. It's simple, classy, and tracks fitness. I'll update over time as I get more use out of it. Or if anyone has questions!
