True experience review

I received the watch as a birthday gift from my children, on 23 November 2019. I did not want to use it at first, because it needs blue tooth, & WiFi to operate. I tried to find unbiased option about it's safety on the internet. But only found biased opinions because it was written by the company's that made them. I was forced by my children to ware it against my will. I tried it out for 6 months. This was the findings.
1. It is absolutely useless if you have load-shedding, In SA. Because there is no WiFi available. 2 My wrist was aching all the time only when I took the watch off, the pain was gone from my wrist. 3. I developed a red rash just under the clock face on my wrist. Although I would thoroughly dry my skin that is under my watch, after a swim or shower. 4. I had to change my watch from my left to my right hand every few weeks, because of the skin irritation, where the microwave beams penetrated my skin. My skin became very hard. Before my skin was very soft. 5. The green light signal light woke me up every time I moved during the night, so I took my watch off, the last two months, when I went to bed. 6. I noticed that it sent an add to my laptop on a subject I was talking about to my daughter in law. 7. I detest being spied on. 8. I will never again give an account to anyone on what I eat or drink,, when I sleep and what exercises I do every day. It is the biggest invasion of one's privacy you can imagine. 9. The microwaves the phone emits are detrimental to one's health. 10. I have found that studies have been done on the damaging effects to humans. Read the transcripts of the 5Gsummit.org For your company, it is only about the money you can make and not how adversely it affects people's health. If I had the money I would sue your company, for the damaged you have caused. I had far more stress in wearing the watch, than now, being freed from it.

Maintenance issue

I’ve had my watch less than a year and due to “maintenance” I’ve been unable to read any data since Thursday 24th

Quite disappointed

I bought this watch 9 months ago for the purpose of walking steps counting. I am disappointed that it can't show the number of steps now! I don't know where I can go for repair!

Poor Quality - Screen Dies at 2 Years Old

I bought this watch 2 years ago, and over the past two months the LED screen has become invisible, so is fairly useless now except as an activity tracker using the app. There are lots of instances where other watch owners have found the same thing when I search the Garmin support site. Will never buy Garmin again.

Unfortunately really disappointed

My Vivomove HR is a lemon. I have several friends with the same watch. They are fine but mine takes many attempts to sync it. Sometimes I try on and off for days. Now at 18 months old the screen is fading. If it wasn’t hard enough to see the text before now I can only see the left side of my watch .

I had a lot of smart watches but Garmin is the best for the moment. I have it for more than 2 years and the battery stays up more than 14 days.

Does not last the distance

This watch is lovely to look at but my watch face just got lighter and lighter and I now no longer have any digital information on the watch face. I cannot read messages, see steps, etc.
This is really not good enough.

Glad I purchased this watch

This watch has so many features, it took me a while to learn how to use it. Now I won’t leave home without it. The navigation features will be great when we are on a tour. Finding places we want to see or just finding our way back to the bus.
