love its functionality and design

It took me a long time to decide which smart watch to buy. I have been a long time apple watch user and switching to Garmin took a lot of evaluating and convincing! I decided on Garmin because it showed data that was important to me. I am not an athlete or sports minded person but I wanted basic info on my health and activities. The design is very elegant too. Unfortunately, I wish the design team would come up with a better resolution and a longer charging cable. But overall, everything is great!!!!

Everything is wonderful except one MAJOR detail!!

Just got this watch from my husband as an early Christmas Present. LOVE it. It's beautiful and everything works so great except that I don't receive text messages. I read a lot of reviews saying that after the APPLE update they weren't able to receive texts. I wish Garmin would figure this out. I did everything the website told me to in regards to ensuring that I would be able to receive texts. However, to no avail that didn't work.

Horrible watch

I bought them because watch looks great and they have hands. But!! The hands are completely useless as they won’t calibrate (I used instructions and multiple YouTube videos and nothing) and They show completely wrong time. Im returning the watch

Have had this watch for 10 minutes and realise no GPS. What is the pointy. Hopefully I can return it.

Sorry to hear about your experience with this watch. The vivomove HR doesn't needs GPS to record steps and be used as an activity tracker. GPS is only needed when you want to record an activity with a GPS Track. The vivomove HR will still record Running Activities using the internal sensor to provide accurate distance and pace.

Touch Screen

I currently have a Garmin Garmin Vivo band (not watch shaped) that I’ve had for 2 or 3 years. It has a button that makes it easy to push and look at activities. The strap has come apart plus I wanted something that looks a little nicer with a watch look. Naturally I chose a Garmin because I thought it would be intuitive. I should have read the reviews prior to purchase. I opened the box, pulled out the watch and no buttons! The touch screen is more than just a little finicky. Getting the watch paired with a finicky touch screen is crazy! The double tap to begin timing is impossible. I have to double tap 6-8 times before timing begins and same to end. Very frustrating. 90% of the time moving my arm towards me does not turn on the watch. It requires a double tap. Ridiculous! Impossible to read/see outdoors, which is where I need it most.
Still trying to decide whether I want to strap on my old geeky looking band that has a strap that doesn’t hook up or send this attractive, but non functional thing back to Gagarin!

It is terrible at syncing to my phone. It should not be so difficult to connect with my phone.
