Hello! First time GARMIN user here! I can assure you that I did my homework and researched all smart watches(GARMIN being the Pro) for my specific needs. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, because I wanted a smart watch to help me track my steps, calories, monitor my sleep and daily activities plus my workouts BUT I didn’t want one that lookedbulky/sporty . GARMIN Vívomove HR does tracking of all the things I was interested in + more. I got the rubber band and still looks great for everyday casual looks. Set up with app was easy,and like every new gadget it takes time to get acquainted with the widgets. Battery life is true to the 5 day and I have ALL the notifications on! Hope this review helps you!

I am disappointed that it does not have a cycling option and that you need to enter stuff manually after a ride. I only have tried for a day and will give it another try on my bike but it seems odd that it won’t connect to the gps on the phone and track your distance on a bike ride. The advertising should not include “cycling” as an option if it is not. Other than that it does the job and it does look really nice - I like the analog watch and that I don’t have to turn it on or wake it up to check the time.

Sorry to hear about your experience with recording cycling activities. You are correct that this device does not have a specific profile for cycling however it should record the activity. If you are needing a device that has a specific cycling function we would encourage you to contact the retailer for assistance exchanging it for one of the other Garmin devices that supports that type of activity. If you are past the return period you can also reach out to our staff as well for assistance, however our options may be limited when compared to the retailer.
My Wife bought this for me as a gift which I am pleased with. the only thing that would be better is more of a selection of colors.

Will no longer pair to phone

I bought a rose gold vivomove hr in January 2018. It worked perfectly fine until now, now it will no longer pair to any device and just tells me to “try again”. Good short term watch, not great if you want something for the long run.

Garmin Express PC app can't detect new vivomove HR

I bought a new vivomove HR, just 2 days ago and I still haven't managed to add it to the Garmin Express PC app. The watch is beautiful and all , but how am I supposed to have it updated and working since the app can't even detect the product? Plus I have compatibility mobile phone issues, since I connected with a HUAWEI P10 lite and as the Garmin Connect app suggests, there are some compatibility issues with some HUAWEI phones and that I should connect the watch through the USB cable to the PC and run the latest updates through Garmin Express. Which as said above doesn't even detect the device. Maybe the watch itself is faulty or there the app is, at any case I'm deeply disappointed with this first GARMIN experience.
