Super happy with this watch. I’ve tried a few smart watches and this one is amazing. Looks like a traditional watch but meets my techie needs. I love the app that comes along with. Easy to use. Intuitive. Great buy.

I'm still trying to figure everything out, but I love the looks of it, and what I've figured out so far. I do wish the minimal manual that came with it, had more details about the features and how to use them, but I'm sure, with enough research, I'll figure it out.

Everything I wanted in a watch

I'm upgrading from a 3 year old hybrid smartwatch that only tracked steps and gave a general buzz when I received a notification. The Garmin Vivomove HR retains everything I liked about that while improving every single aspect of the watch. I love that this retains the classic look of a normal watch. I never liked wearing a screen on my arm and having to worry about it coming on in a movie theater or waking me up at night. And lets be honest, trying to use a 1" screen to do anything like texting or calling is about as inefficient as you could make it. No, all I need is something to alert me to notifications, and accurately track my fitness with the key that's been missing being my heart rate. Garmin has one of the best HR trackers in the business and although it's no Apple watch for being a second phone, as I said earlier, that's not worth it to me. I haven't had any issues with reading the screen outside or it giving any strange readings. Also at 2/3 the price of most smart watches on the market, its even a good deal!

Overall decent watch - but no language support

It is a good watch for everyday use as I can go to work without having my phone out. When I get back home I can go for a run and use the same watch. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and being able to track your health is nice.
The biggest reason why I'm giving this two stars is for the lack of language support. My Second language, Japanese, is not supported at all so I can not see notifications from anyone who uses or has a contact name in Japanese characters. Its frustrating that there is no support for this. On top of this, any accent marks in the Latin (é, etc) alphabet do not appear.

Sorry tor the experience you have had with the device. Garmin does offer those languages in those regions of the world, they are not offered world wide however.
