I treated myself last Christmas with my third Garmin watch. It is elegant as well as useful. I love it because I can use it as a dress watch and still enjoy the tracking features

Stylish and simple

Just purchased my VMHR and really like its simple, stylish look, and the fact that it isn't burying me in countless features I'll never use (unlike my Apple watch). I have to warn new purchasers, however, to be careful when setting it up to choose the right language. I accidentally selected Finnish when I set mine up, which meant that I couldn't read any of the configuration or smart functions -- including the one that would allow me to change the language to English. This meant a couple of hours of extremely frustrating fiddling before I stumbled across the right setting. Once I had it speaking to me in my native language though, the interface is pretty straightforward. The silicone watchband is more comfortable than I'd anticipated, so I may not change it to a Skagen steel mesh as I'd originally intended. Overall, I'm pretty enthused about it.

Great design! Not so accurate

I’ve wanted this watch for months and I finally received it for my birthday! I was so excited to wear it! The next day I went to a high intensity class and I was disappointed with my results. The watch tracked my stats inaccurately; my highest heart rate at 102 bpm and 38 calories. These should have been a lot higher! I’m frustrated because I specifically wanted this watch for these two functions. With that being said, I still love the watch and happy with the gift! I wish it was more accurate!

Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because of the price. It’s plain looking but it does everything as advertised and accurately.

Great hybrid watch!

I was looking for a watch that gave me fitness tracking ability but not need to be charged every night or look like a smartwatch. This has been a great watch so far. The only thing I would add would be glow in the dark watch hands when the smartwatch mode is turned off. Easy to use and pairs well with the Garmin Connect app.
Would highly recommend for someone who likes some of the smartwatch capabilities but still wants the look of a traditional watch.

Possibly faulty?

I absolutely love this watch but the battery life is poor. Today I've only had 9 hours use out of a full charge, normally I can get 1.5 days which is still less than what I expected. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for this issue.

Great Watch!

First, the best part about the watch is that it is compatible with Moto Z phone. Having a Moto Z phone it was very difficult to find a smart watch that would work with my phone but Garmin does!!! It is easy to use and set up. I really like the watch and the features it offers. I highly recommend this product.
