Cheap Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good for the most part. The bad is the ice maker ... it's terrible. Ice bin overflows and drops cubes into dispenser door, holding it open, allowing humidity to enter freezer, frosting everything. Thin aluminum teeth of ice crusher bend easily and jamb up, so you must straighten them before it will work again. Teeth should be thicker or stainless steel, maybe both. Now there's some grinding of the gearbox, not related to actually crushing ice, and I'm literally 1 week from the 1 year warranty! Next fridge/freezer I'll examine the ice maker, and I don't expect only the most expensive model to have stainless steel crushing teeth.

Love my fridge

We absolutely love this Frigidaire item - we have enough space to store both foods and snacks. Most importantly, it keeps all of our foods fresh and cool. Ice maker

This product is excellent on the Refrigerator side. The Freezer size has problems with the ice maker dispenser. The ice cubes keep getting caught in the dispenser which causes the freezer to have frost. Also when using crush ice the ice goes every where.
