Loving it so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this pressure cooker for about 3 weeks now. I believe I have used it a total of 10 times at least. I have not had one failed meal yet! I have cooked chili, porkloin, pot roast, swiss steak, etc in this and they all have turned out delicious! I give this 4 stars because it isnt extremely simple to use, as the manual is a little choppy, but it isnt difficult at all either. Also does not come with extra parts that are used for extra cooking options.

Quick and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very skeptical of pressure cookers. I never really understood why they were special. This is my first one and now I see what the fuss is about. I love the sear option. I can sear meat and cook things like onions, peppers or garlic before adding the meat.
I buy meat in bulk and freeze immediately. I really hated that I had to thaw whatever it was I wanted for dinner. No need with this! I am amazed at how well and quickly this was able to cook bone-in chicken breasts directly from the freezer. In under an hour they were ready to eat. That is including the time to let this pressure cooker pressurize, cook, depressurize and put them under the broiler. A pressure cooker is not able to make meat crispy so I put it under the broiler for a few minutes once it's finished cooking to get that brown crispy skin. The meat falls off the bone! I haven't used a lot of the different settings and may not ever need to, but it's nice that there are so many preset options. I don't think there is anything you can't cook in one of these. It can do everything from meats, one pot meals, rice, soups and even desserts. This is the perfect appliance to use in the summer. I can make pretty much anything I want and not worry about having to turn the oven on and heating up the whole house. The 6qt is the perfect size for my family. It fits exactly the amount I need for dinners. Cleanup is so easy. Dinners that normally use a few pots or pans and a baking dish only need the one pot that is in this. I am so pleased with this pressure cooker and will use it far more than I ever imagined I would.

Multifunctional Pressure Cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using manual pressure cooker and didn’t like it because of uncertain measurements and not getting the desired results. That’s why, I wanted to switch to an electric pressure cooker. Nuwave pressure cooker is my All-in-one pressure cooker. I love it for multi-functional features and settings.
6Qt is a decent capacity and You can also cook large meals in it for special occasions/parties. The top lid and cooking pot are removable, and it make them easy to clean. Another safe feature of this cooker is the complete lock of cooker, before the cooking starts. It can be locked for cooking and unlocked once food is cooked.
The best and my favorite feature of this cooker is the preset feature. Now, I don’t worry about, how long should I cook the beans or how many whistles till rice is done? It has wide variety of presets for cooking different foods. Once you choose a preset, it preheats for short time and then begins cooking. You will hear a beep sound once the cooking starts, as well as the end of cooking time. This way, I know when food is done. And, If I want, I can keep the food warm for few hours, till we are ready to eat. The texture of food comes out excellent. Moreover, the whistle is not loud. I move it easily by using carrying handle, which is convenient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy to finally own a pressure cooker! We have made quite a few things in this including steamed veggies & rice. But my favorite thing is that I can throw in chili ingredients late afternoon and it’s done by dinner time. So easy for last minute meals that I’d normally make in a slow cooker. You can also use this as a slow cooker but I haven’t tried that feature yet. Easy to use and very convenient. Can’t wait to try outlet recipes!

I had an "old fashioned" pressure cooker and used it for a lot of things and had put some thought into picking up a new kind like my friends had. When this opportunity arose, I was so excited! Now this is my favorite new kitchen gadget. I use it on nearly a daily basis. Why did I wait so long to even try one out? I can see why my friends like it so much. They are so easy to use and you can cook nearly anything in then and they cook everything evenly and are easy to clean up as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking into buying a new pressure cooker.
