My Life has changed forever!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep hearing about how great Pressure Cookers are. But I was hesitant to get one. Most of my hesitation was because I had yet to find one made by a brand that I trusted. Another deterrent was the cost of buying a pressure cooker. However, I think the biggest cause of my hesitation was that I didn't want one more appliance cluttering my kitchen that I wasn't using. Pressure Cookers are a little intimidating and I wasn't sure if I would even figure out how to use it.
Well I finally did it! I got a pressure cooker! I trust the NuWave brand. I have several other products from them and they all work great. The price was right and I figured the worst thing that could happen is that I would have to order pizza for dinner.
I have cooked dinner in it every other night since I got it. It's really easy to use. You just have to make sure you have enough water in your food so that it can make pressure. My Husband's favorite meal I have made in it is Smothered Pork Chops. Have you ever had pork chops that fall apart as you poke them with your fork? If you haven't then you need a pressure cooker!

I bought this product for my daughter to make meals easier for her convience when she gets out of work. I cant seem to get a cook book to purchase to make more meals. Is there one that I can purchase. I didnt get any brochures of recipes when I purchased this product. Thank -you June

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it makes the food in half the time or less. It cooks the full flavor into the food. I have used it to make chili and a pot roast and both came out very well. The sear/browning function works well. Now this is not a complete kit you do have to purchase some accessories to use other functions, a steaming rack and glass lid. Also the instructions are kind of vague so do some research before using. Overall I am quite happy with the Nuwave pressure cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nuwave digital pressure cooker is 6 quarts with 11 touch and go presets. It cooks so fast and holds the juices in every meal whether you are cooking chicken or stew this is my go to pot for larger meals. Holiday meals this year will be amazing! This cooker pretty much does everything for you. A great time saver and nice accent to my kitchen

First try with a pressure cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first try with a pressure cooker so please interpret this with a possibility of user error. The manual was not a good as I’d hope to be able to get off the ground smoothly - although it does cover the basics it could use a definitions section to explain what instructions have buttons and which are achieved in another way.
With that said, it made a very nice roast and I will be trying it again very soon for stew!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so confused at first reading the directions until I realized they were doing everything you normally do to cook, just only in ONE pot! It is very easy to use once you figure out that you just need to follow directions until you get the hang of it. I plan on gifting one to a friend for a housewarming present because it is easy to use, I also like that it is very easy to clean. I never had issues getting the food out and nothing ever burned. This is so very handy in my kitchen. The time it saves is great for getting other things done!

I am frustrated because I cant find specific instructions on how to release the lid from the pin so I can clean it. I am afraid to break the lid.
