Plenty of room and great storage arrangement

Terrible

I bought this refrigerator in May and after a week it would not make ice so I traded it back to lowes for another one. I had the second one for 2 weeks and still no ice so now I am waiting to get another refrigerator that is suppose to be delivered soon. Don't buy this refrigerator.

I purchased this fridge 4 months ago and I think it's great! I was skeptical on getting this type of fridge, I preferred standard side by side, but I don't regret broadening my horizons with this!!

Love the unit, but had to repair within a year

I love the refrigerator. There is plenty of space in both the frig and the freezer. I would like to have the water chilled but that is not a deal breaker. We have had our unit for about a year now and we had problems with the ice maker. We had an appliance repairman out today who had to defraust our evaporator fan because ice formed around the fan so it melted the ice that we had in the tray and stopped the ice maker from making more ice. The repairman stated that this is not uncommon for Frigidaire units. He had to replace the seal kit around the ice maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice maker quit turning, not quite 6 months old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased this refrigerator back in June. We were hosting Thanksgiving dinner, and the ice maker quit turning. We have done all the trouble shooting to try to fix the issue, but it still doesn't work.
I really enjoyed it, up to this point. It has plenty of space, and shelving options.

Oh no! Beth Henderson, I may be able to help you! Please check to see if ice has melted and refrozen around the auger in your ice bin (the spiral metal bar in the bottom). If so, please remove the ice container, empty the contents or thaw (my family uses too much ice for me to melt - so I put it in a bowl), clean and dry the container, and place on a counter top for the second part (this may take two of you to be able to see). Find the light button on the frame of your refrigerator (the dispenser won’t work if the door is open, so we are “fooling” it), and press it while watching the little metal “U” shaped auger turner in the ice bucket “hole” on the back wall. At the same time one of you are pressing the light switch and watching, have the second person press the paddle on the front of the door to dispense ice. Hold it down for about a minute to melt any ice that may have formed. If the “U” shaped auger turner moves, you have done it! Replace the ice container, being careful (don’t use force!) to align the auger with the auger turner so they fit together correctly (the bin won’t go in all the way if it is not aligned correctly). Horrible

Had this for 3 years now. Had it serviced twice. Needs service again. Sounds like a freight train running in my kitchen. Ice Maker and water dispenser are the main problems.
