Tstone6, I am glad you are satisfied with the layout of your refrigerator. Some items to check that impact slow ice production, include: Make sure the water valve going to the refrigerator is open fully. Check the freezer temperature, it should be between 5 and -2 degrees (sometimes dropping the temp will increase ice production). Water pressure is a factor that can’t be ignored either, it has to be between 30-100 PSI. I had the same issue last year, with capacity not meeting demand. I ended up putting an extra ice bin in the freezer portion. I would empty the bin by the ice maker first thing in the morning, and again when I got home from work. And unlike my model, yours is already set up to accept an optional ice maker in the freezer! Page 30 of the Owner’s Manual addresses the normal sights and sounds you will encounter.
