I bought this refrigerator in Jan. I have had nothing but problems with it. It leaks from the ice/water in the door. It has been serviced 3 times and continues to leak. I was told the last time to just stop using the crushed ice. REALLY??? I keep getting the runaround about having the refrigerator replaced. I was even told from the service man that he has had to work on several refrigerators like this one for the same issue. I think this one is a LEMON!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

no cold water comes out

bought December 23 did not like it no cold water comes out and ice takes to long to make returned it for another make

TERRIBLE ICE MAKER

TERRIBLE... I haven't had it a year and have had to have the ice maker serviced & replaced. It freezes up, literally water freezes inside the mechanism & it will not dispense. I had to turn off the ice maker, open my fridge door & defrost it like an old freezer, 3 times. It has since been replaced, but we still are dissatisfied as the dispensing system is also terrible. We are only able to dispense crushed ice. It takes literally over a minute to get a cup of ice cubes (I timed & stopped trying to dispense because I didn't want the motor to burn out). I'm NOT impressed & my husband HATES it!

We only had the refrigerator for 3 months and the ice maker stopped working the maintenance guy who came out to fix told me I should definitely get the extended warranty because this will more than likely be an ongoing problem. When I called and told them the type of refrigerator I had thy already knew what the problem was. I only wish I had read the reviews on it first.

Had to replace the main printed circuit board. The bottom drawer in the fridge freezes food. The display is currently displaying varying temps that are wrong.

I Love this new refrigerator!!!

We just finished our kitchen remodel. We replaced all appliances and the main requirements for new was black, to match the other black appliances; freezer on the bottom; and water and ice in the door. Then chose the cheapest model with these features. We couldn't be happier. It's quiet and has functional details. The fruit and vegetable drawers are my favorite. I'm not throwing out any forgotten foods, because of the see-thru, humidity-controlled bins.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the third Frigidaire in the past three months. The first one wouldn't get down to temperature. The second one sounded like a weed eater when it ran. The third so far so good but it makes me wonder how long it will last before something goes wrong with this one.
