Love the French doors

We live in a 19th century house and there is no perfect place to put a refrigerator. This one works really well because the freezer drawer opens fully and doesn't hit the thick molding. Meanwhile, the french doors for the refrigerator open completely on one side and about 75 degrees on the other. We still have full access with that and the inside drawers pull out...just about completely. This gives us the maximum amount of usable space in a really tight spot.
Love the organization of the doors and shelves too.

Happy Days are Here Again

We love our new Frigidaire Gallery. It looks great in our kitchen with the other white appliances and really has an elegant presence. When you open the doors the lighting is amazing, you can see every shelf, drawer and corner clearly. So much space we have room to store items where they can be seen easily. Lots of storage for tall items and the drawers slide really smoothly. The freezer has deep storage and the ice maker does a great job. We

Good fridge

We got this fridge about two months ago it was a little frustrating at first the ice maker wouldn't work but it was handled very well and it works great now

Major problems

We bought the FGHN2866PP model due to height restrictions in our kitchen, its design, and capacity despite warnings to avoid from Consumer Reports. The first refrigerator when set at 33 and -6 degrees in the refrigerator and freezer respectively (lowest possible settings) kept the top refrigerator shelf at 48 degrees and the bottom shelf at 40 degrees. The freezer temp was ok, but the ice maker made a tommy gun sound when filling that could be heard throughout the house after 5 days of operation. Frigidaire replaced the first with a second identical model. The 2nd refrigerator did a little better but only kept the top shelf at 42 to 44 degrees and still made the tommy gun sound after 5 days of operation. All temps were measured in the AM upon first opening. The door display never showed that the actual temperature differed from the setting. For food safety, refrigerator temps should not exceed 40 degrees. Frigidaire refunded our money and we bought a different maker's model after we took down a shelf in our kitchen. It was a I month ordeal from the time of initial purchase. The one thing I can say positively about the experience is that Frigidaire does stand behind their products when failures occur, and the experience was hassle free - i.e., no pushback from the company. I think the new energy standards are the source of the problem with this model.

Good value

So far so good. I like the layout in the refrigerated compartment. Still getting use to the freezer arrangement for storage. The doors have lots of space and hold many items. The doors tend to slam when you let go of them. There is probably a method to adjust the doors but I haven’t looked into it.
The icemaker seems noisy but I have never had this feature before so they may all be like that.
