I loved my new Fridaire Gallery dishwasher for the first few washes. It has not worked for two months and I have had it serviced three times and it still does not work. The service company is so busy that it always takes a week or two until they can come to check it. The time keeps ticking and before I know it the warranty will be up. I purchased it in November 2014 but it was not installed in our new kitchen until May, 2015.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's been close to a year and while I love the design and space..... It always has a glitch every few days. I either need to slam it for the circuit board to register its closed so I can start it or the circuit board shorts and I need to flip breakers. It's already loose from the mount from the continuous slamming of the door. And the dishwasher tabs rarely ever fulling discharge from the compartment if it opens at all. Disappointed to say the least.

I am very disappointed with my purchase. I had my dishwasher installed in mid December and it appeared to work just fine for about three weeks. In early January when pressing the start button the dishwasher was totally dead. I called service and the repair man came out and said he would have to order a new board. Up to this point the service guy is still waiting for the replacement part and I have been washing dishes by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this 3 weeks. Didn't dry great so have another on order to replace, it is back ordered for 5 weeks. In the meantime the entire unit has stopped working so repairman scheduled this week so I can have something to use while waiting for the replacement. So far VERY disappointed. Hoping this was just a lemon and next one is all it was supposed to be.

We bought this unit to replace a low-end dishwasher that was starting to have problems getting our dishes clean, and was VERY loud.
We picked Frigidaire not out of any brand loyalty, but mostly because all the other appliances in the house are Frigidaire (came with the house when we purchased it) and because it was a good value based on the features we wanted and the price.
This model is really quiet, at least compared to our old unit. When it's running, you have to be standing pretty close to it to hear it going if there is any background noise, like the TV. The only time it is noticeable is if there is nothing else on in the house, you are standing right by it, or at a couple points in the cycle. Even at it's loudest, it never hits the level of annoying or distracting.
The stainless interior and hidden heating element is great, and we have not melted a single plastic container lid. It always gets the dishes clean, as long as I don't over load it, unless something is really soiled.
My only complaint is that we have to be careful with how we load it. It might be due to the rack configuration or the size of our dishes, but even that is a minor complaint.
