Basic plain Jane electric stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my kitchen appliances are basic black Frigidaire. Not by choice. It came in our new mobile home which we moved into in the last month. The oven temp on the stove is way off. Ive burned 3 different meals. The fridge and dishwasher seem to be doing fine so far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Ktvirgo! I regret to hear you are having trouble baking. Please be sure you are preheating the oven when you are baking. Dark or dull pans absorb more heat than shiny bakeware resulting in dark or over-browning of foods. It may be necessary to reduce the oven temperature or cook time to prevent over-browning of some foods. Dark pans are recommended for pies. Shiny pans are recommended for cakes, cookies, and muffins.
