Decent A/C

I was actually expecting a little more umph when I bought this ac, but it does its job. Its loud, even when set up properly and econ mode can be pretty difficult to listen to when you are sleeping. I generally just leave it on cool all night because otherwise econ will have it turning off and on all night long, which causes me to wake up when it happens.
The thermostat on the remote is not necessarily accurate either, so it is best to just set it at a specific temp and let it run its course. This is perfect for a medium to large bedroom, which is where I have this. It is also in an upstairs bedroom. This is a heavy unit, which would require two people to situate and put in. Also, be sure to situate the side panels prior to putting it in the window, because it has to be done properly or the panels will come loose. It is fine for the money and does an adequate job cooling in WV, although Im not too sure how it would do in lower in the US.
Nice, clean and easy to read screen and remote.

I've had this AC for 6 weeks and it has saved my life. My central unit went out and with 90-100 degree weather everyday in GA I wouldn't have survived without this unit.

Overall an excellent AC

As far as cooling capacity,, excellent. It's the best AC I've ever had considering I'm a retired GE employee who has only owned GE AC's.Installing was a breeze and I especially the lightness of this unit. The 1 prpblem I do have is with the Air Vent System. There are 3 settings, both on the conditioner and in the manual. But in the illustrated explanation of each setting, all 3 pictures look the same so here's no way to know for sure which setting is which when pulling the knob out to it's 3 settings.
Oh, and I do love all the bells & whistles that make this conditioner unique. A lotta ZC for the money!

Great window AC with great fretues

I bought this about a month ago and am using it to cool down a large bedroom with cathedral ceiling. I used to have a 14000 BTU unit and this one cools even better. The economizer works well, as does the timer, and we especially like the remote sensor which takes into account the temperature of the part of the room we are in at the time.
