DOA - Tried Again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit for son's apt. Up 32 flights of stairs, the room at 92 deg. unpack, install, plug in and - NOTHING, Completely Dead - it's 10:30 PM.
Next morning, repack the unit, down 2 flights, back to the retailer (who exchanged with no issue, unpacked the second unit, plugged it in and demonstrated it worked fine).. Back to the apt; up 2 flights, install and , thankfully, it fires up and cools off a 20x12' studio in short order..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Frigidaire 12000btu window air conditioning unit. It's replacing two units by other manufacturers that were both rated to cool a 400 square foot room but couldn't. This Frigidaire kicks butt, I was totally comfortable for the rest of the summer. After 2 summers sweating I actually felt chilly. 5 stars easily

Filling with water?

The unit itself works great, however, just taking it out for the winter and it was filled with water. It didn't seem to have any drain holes on the bottom and the entire bottom is rusted out. Its a year old and there wasn't that much rain. Any ideas or help?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the product but have not used yet. Bought at end of season, but ready for next year. However Frigidaire is usually a good product and I am hoping this AC will prove my comment true during the 2016 AC season.

This little unit cools great!

I bought this for use in a sun room 14 ft. x 18 ft. x 8 1/2 ft. high that did not have any central air ducts. It can cool the room as cold as I want. It is compact for a 12,000 BTU A/C. Also it is quieter than window units that I owned in the past.
