got this unit installed during the heat wave and it is keeping me comfortable in an aluminum mobile trailer. i also purchased an extended warranty

Good output covers a large area. The remote temperature sensor maintains temperature within one or two degrees of the set point. Energy usage seems low so far.

BOUGHT THIS MACHINE TO PUT ON MY BACK PORCH THAT I ENCLOSED FROM SCREENS TO WINDOWS, GIVING ME A LARGE ROOM. IN SOUTH FLORIDA THERE IS A TREMENDOUS AFTERNOON HEAT ON THE WEST SIDE OF MY PORCH. MY FRIGIDAIRE NOW GIVES ME A DELIGHTFUL COOL ROOM!

Cool again in Texas!

I love this unit so much! I have the 25,000 BTU unit already but wanted to cool the other end of the house, so I got this. WOW what a difference, and I cant believe how cold this thing gets for its size! The EER is probably the best on the market right now for this size unit. I love all the high end features this thing has too. Look around, compare prices and ratings on other units and I guarantee you will come back to this one. Also I've seen a lot of people complain about there is no drip hole on these units, there is but its on the bottom. I didnt realize what it was until I actually saw the water dripping out. The install was so easy, just sat it right into the window. The only complaint I have about these newer units is that they dont make the slide out chassis on most units like they used to. I really miss that because it makes it so much easier when the time comes to clean them out after a couple of years. You have to remove everything instead of just sliding out the unit. I wish these manufacturers would change that and go back to the old way. Other than that, this is a great buy, love this unit!

In Las Vegas NV. it gets hot, like 115 f Hot! I have a large house but we spend most of our time in one room. So I bought the window unit to cut some of our power bill. I works. I save around 20% less on power.
