DIRECTIONS ARE VERY VERY VERY HARD TO FOLLOW. Puts out good air and cools a good sized area.

Cools relatively fast in a very large room

I bought my 15000 BTU for a long room measuring approximately 650 sq. ft with a kitchen and bathroom in separate rooms slightly off from the long main room. The unit cools all three along with the help of a ceiling fan. It actually gets so cold that I switch to fan only mode for an hour or so until the humidity returns. I live in a five story brick building in NYC, which gets very hot and humid, even when the outside temperature is relatively mild for a summer day or evening. I would recommend this air conditioner at least to this point in my ownership.

Great AC

I bought it few weeks ago. The performance was excellent. The only issue is the installation that was a bit technical. I recommend this to anyone that wants to cool off the heat anytime.

Good little A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this yesterday for my daughter in Virginia while I am here on Vacation. Installed it myself, Simple instructions if you can read and understand what things are "I do air conditioning in South Florida" Fairly quiet, Blows real cold, Nice looking and seals real good if you take the time to get it right. NOTE: Only thing I have noticed is the temperature sensor is off, Said it was 70 in her place when I first plugged it in and it was clearly 80-82 as the place had no Air for an hour with a window open in the afternoon. Will reset the unit today and find the sensor to see if its just a poor location or if it fell off. Happy with purchase so far.

Quiet and cheaper than my neighbor's central air

Yikes! Ladygreynius, there should not be an occasion for moisture to gather in the front of a room air conditioner that is installed correctly. Your pictures show mold on the front grate. Please consider revisiting the installation instructions, to ensure the recommended “tilt” has been achieved that ensures excessive moisture drains properly. The last page of your Owner’s Manual has your warranty information. Service calls that do not involve malfunction, or defects in materials or workmanship are not covered. Cleaning the mold would be the recommended solution. In researching, I was unable to locate any recent contact pertaining to your matter.
