I have only tried out the air conditioner on one test run. The only problem I see with the a/c is when the room is cool the a/c will not turn off when the temperature reaches the set temp on the front of the a/c and will not go into a cycle mode. After reading the reading the instructions 3 times I see no cycle mode in a/c mode. Only Econ mode has the cycle mode. Would like the louvers on the front to be able to go up towards the ceiling more than they do now. Seems like a design flaw.

I bought 2 of them and im very happy with them. I gave it a good rating because it makes just noise that's somewhat annoying until you get use to it

Good and Efficient Window Unit

This is my third Frigidaire window unit I have purchased and I'm pleased with all three. I purchased this unit because I've been using two other units in my home for 4 years and they are efficient and quiet (for a window unit). They also have a clean air feature and a clean filter indicator light. I cool my entire home with two window units much cheaper they my neighbors do with central air. The third unit I put into my shop building and it is cooling just as my other units do in my house. I live in southern Oklahoma so these units cool my home and shop in 100 degree plus weather.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Fabulous Air Conditioner

What makes this unit rate far above its competitors.
!. It is a lightweight for an 8000 BTU unit. Which makes for ease of installation. You do not have to be a weightlifter to install it. The side units fit perfectly into my double hung windows on my home. You really do not need any tools for the installation unless you want to screw the unit to the window or frame.
2. It cools a 15 X 15 foot room quietly and efficiently.
3. It is a good looking unit.
4. It has ease of operation and is simple to operate with the remote provided with it.
5. It is not an expensive unit and you anr getting great value for your money

What a life saver!

I'm so glad I purchased this early in the season! We here in the Pacific Northwest never thought we would need air conditioning. Last summer, we were made believers, so this summer, I was determined to be prepared, and am so glad I am! So far, the warmest summer on record! The unit is in my bedroom, and while others in my area are suffering from lack of sleep on these hot summer nights, I'm sleeping like a baby! The energy saver feature is wonderful, and the unit cools down the room perfectly to ensure comfort and that blessed sleep. Seattle has not had rain for months! And we're in for several more months of over 80 degrees! I'm just thrilled with my purchase of this Frigidaire AC unit!
