not overly impressed

This seems to be a lot noisier than I was expecting by reading other reviews, and it keeps shutting off at random times. It will restart if I turn the unit off then on again, but will not restart on it's own. When it is working it seems to cool down the rooms nicely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cold But Noisy

The unit installed and works like a charm, but the fan is very noisy. I am disappointed that no others reviews mentioned this.

GREAT BUY

Good features, strong a/c, great price and outstanding customer service. The only negative is the operating manual. It does not explain some of the important features, such as in eco mode, the a/c actually turns off and then comes on in short bursts like 10/15 seconds.

Powerful window unit

I bought this air conditioner when I moved to a new apartment in the middle of a hot summer. For a unit its size, it brings a ton of cooling power, and can single-handedly change the climate of a room within minutes. It's been a blessing to my family, especially while having a young child around who needs to sleep comfortably!

I have bought other brands and they did not have the features the Frigidaire does. It is also much quieter than the others. Very satisfied!
