Not a big fan of this trash compactor model. Although, it looks good it does not compact the trash as well as my previous Kenmore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality

The unit does not roll out smoothly at all. I had local service company install new rollers but did not help. With out a handle like my old one had, the unit does not exit far enough either
