Great TV, Short Life

Great TV, very sharp picture and color enhancement, but after three years, it just died out. Thankfully, I did have the extended warranty.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality

Great Picture-Great Price!

OK, its not a 4K ultra HD picture, but unless you are sitting closer than 6 feet from the set or watching with binoculars, you will not be able so tell the difference. The auto wizard set up was easy to follow and gave us a picture that we really love for watching Blu-Ray discs, network TV, and especially, football. The screen is glossier than the older Sharp 42" it replaces, which is not a problem while viewing bright content. When watching darker content and/or movies, its nice to turn out any lights that can be reflected by the screen. We use the optical sound output to an AV receiver and get great sound. We are using the 2 HDMI inputs for our cable box and Blu-Ray, so if we need more inputs, we will run them all into our AV receiver and run just 1 HDMI to the TV. Overall this is a great TV for a great price if you do not need the Smart functions.

What a great choice I made.
clear picture, beautiful color, set up was so easy even I could do it, remote is easy to use, it is lighter than my old 32 inch flat screen, menu is simple and easy to use and understand.
I love it.

I must have looked and read reviews, compared prices for weeks. For what this LG TV offers at this price range, it is perfect! Easy to setup, decent sound and a great, crisp HD picture! I love it! I added a sound bar and with luck, it should last for years! You won't go wrong with buying this LG. I've recommended it to several friends, and 2 have taken my advice and are very happy.

Great TV For A Great Price!

Good picture and sound. Easy to setup and use the features. I found this for a great price at a local appliance mart compared to the big box stores! The only downside is it only has 2 HDMI inputs when I need 3 (which my old LG had). This is a great improvement over my LG 32' flat screen TV!!

Great TV, but...

I’ve had his unit for three years and now the screen is now flickering. I can’t see myself purchasing a brand new TV. If I do, I’m purchasing a competitor’s brand.

I've had this TV for almost 5 years and just in the last few months plate sized dark blotches have started to appear. You only notice them on a static backgrounds like the sky or any solid color on a portion of the screen. But, they are spreading and getting worse (more obvious). I have another brand plasma TV over 10 years old that still has a perfect picture so I'm very disappointed that this LG LED TV that seems to be going out and is cost prohibitive to repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
