[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as my cleaning lady was taking 2 months off. I have always been skeptical about robotic vacuums even though I love gadgets. The final push cane from a recommendation from a work colleague. Deebot has not disappointed.
I have 3 floors so yes you do have to physically take it to the floor you need but I currently still just use auto clean and it does it’s thing.
I think it’s better on carpet and I have chosen a floor that has a large space to house his home so that there is limited clutter and he can find his way home to charge.
He does clean on hardwood but I have more things in the main which means he must climb over then (he dies this easily) but it’s more noisy. I ha e not used the pads yet.
It’s important to not have stray wires as he will get tangled up. I use the app so I can set him to work remotely also. Is it faster than using a Dyson V10 no? Does it get into the edges ? No. But for the price and the CONVENIENCE I am really happy and thrilled with my DEEBOT. I do not think I would pay the prices that some other brands charge for.
I am still learning and am yet to use some of the other functions but all in all an unexpected excellent purchase.

I bought it almost 2 months ago. Its reasonable but leaves a lot of places. And battery only last for 40-50 minutes without mopping. When you attach mop to vacuum , it faces difficulty to turn around and battery time is lesser. Rarely finds its base for recharging
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Similar to the previous Roomba I bought, I’m constantly having to rescue this vacuum from places it’s stuck which are mainly corners near area rug edges. It takes a very long time to complete but actually never finishes because the battery dies after a very random pattern throughout the room and hasn’t covered everywhere or I find it stuck somewhere and has turned off. So it’s definitely not the set it and forget it machine that you can schedule which is a shame since I have a dog that sheds a lot and wanted a daily cleaner. I have a 700sqft space with hardwood and 2 area rugs so I’m not sure how everyone else has so much success. They must have very bare rooms.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to help me clean up my basement with a dog and I’m amazed on what it can do. Can’t imagine that much of pet hair on my wooden floor which I can’t see on bare sight but on the suction container of this M88. Set up is a breeze and works with Alexa so well. So far so good and it’s on daily schedule now automatically. Wish it can analyze obstacles more and corners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the DEEBOT M88 around a month ago and it is an excellent floor cleaner.
Our household consists of 4 cats and 1 St. Bernard (size of human when she stands on two legs) so basically we always have hair on the floor. Thus to reduce our cleaning burden and keep the house relatively clean we purchased this robot.
The M88 hasn't had any problems handling all the hair that our pets shed as log as you regularly empty the dust bin. Note that the dust bin is extremely easy to remove and clean.
The M88 is also very smart. It has been able to do the following:
1. Detects our stairs and hasn't fallen at all.
2. If it accidently sucks up a cord (or headphones) it will detect this, stop running and make warning beeps to say it needs to be cleared. This ensures that the M88 doesn't break itself or whatever is sucked up.
3. When cleaning it can find it's way back to the charging stand
4. Will return to the charging stand if the battery is to low
5. Gently bumps or detects funiture and will go around it when need (M88 has a soft bumper on it).
6. M88 will NOT start if the dust bin is removed -- it will also inform you of this through sounds.

3. App is useful as you can set up schedules for the M88 so that it can clean the floor when no one is home. Can also start the robot when you are away from the house.

5. Can fit under most funiture

Potential Cons:
1. Sometimes gets stuck under funiture that is slightly higher in the front than in the back.
--> this isn't really an issue with the M88 just make sure you either block that funiture or raise the funiture with pads.
2. Can sometimes take a while to get back to the charging stand if you have a large house (sometimes spins in a circle until it finds it way).
