Only lasted 10 years

Literature touts protecting your valuables for a lifetime. Unfortunately, it didn't make it 10 years. Key pad failed. Only way to get into safe is to have a locksmith “break” into the safe which causes irreparable damage. Company was little help. Won’t buy Sentry again!

Weak safe, can be opened with prybar

This safe can be opened in less than 30 minutes, I know it is not burglary rated but still...garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Safe For Everyday Needs

This safe has worked flawlessly for 10 years with only one set of 4 AA battery change. Note that this safe is not meant to store valuables so it's not burglar rated. It provides a 1 hour 1750 degree UL rated from fires. It's meant to be used a document safe. This safe can provide a minimal level of security against theft of valuables.
