Don't waste your money on this. Brought it home for my bedroom tv, and it was only better than my tv's speakers by a hair. Zero base, zero power, zero point. Icing on the cake was it stopped working the second day in. Not a big deal as I was planning on returning it anyway, but what a well rounded piece of garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good quality, but has one annoying feature

I just bought this myself today, and I’ll be returning it tomorrow. The sound quality is amazing, and we bought it for our Apple TV box to use via Bluetooth. However, it has an annoying setting that auto shuts itself off when on Bluetooth only, so you can only use it for about 30-40min before it shuts off. It really sucks that Toshiba didn’t add a way to disable the auto shut off as it really is a good speaker.

I bought this on Sale about a year ago. I see that it is still on Sale, and I suspect I know why. When being fed by our TV via Aux connection it works fine. When being fed by our laptop via Bluetooth it suffers from that ridiculous 30-minute timeout that many others have reported. We’ve lived with that for the last year, but now one of the Volume buttons on the remote has stopped working, and as a result the entire unit is now garbage. I’ll never buy another Toshiba product again, and I’m really disappointed that Best Buy would sell such junk no matter how far they reduce the price. I’ve been a pretty loyal Customer of Best Buy, but my confidence in them has taken a serious hit.

Good sound bar for the price

Purchased product on sale. Very easy to set up, able to use our cable remote to control the volume. It is a big difference from using the speakers in the tv.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No controls on sound bar itself, so if your remote breaks-like mine did, NO replacement remotes are available anywhere....there’s no way to control volume, or power, or anything-now making my sound bar obsolete. Toshiba support in Canada sucks too! Stay away.

Quality is average to low. Is just as good as any average tv, so you will only see a difference if your tv sound is poor.
Besides that, it was delivered missing all cables and accessories.
