Decent Space Saving Music Station

I've had this for 3 mths now and I feel confident in reviewing it fairly. Here's my 3 items to consider before buying.
1. How much do you love your hi-fi? This will not leave you satisfied. I first set it up as part of my hi-fi system and the sound quality was lacking because I don't have a true amp and equalizer. It may need that to get the most out of it.
2. How much do you love vinyl? If your a true audiophile this will leave you wanting. If you have some vinyl that you like listening to now and then, it's perfect!
3. How much space do you want your music system to take up? I've recently moved furniture etc around and have gone to just this tt and speaker set up. Because it has Bluetooth I can stream anything I want off of a device. It also has an aux in which is handy because I'm one of the few people left in the world with an iPod....so if I'm entertaining and want a playlist that I have curated...boom...done.

My final thought is fit and finish: it's just ok, but it looks slick. I hope that helps.

Buy the warranty!

Purchased this turn table online as a Christmas present at the end of October 2020.
Sadly, did not purchase warranty!
Arm with needle will only start the album 1/4 in into the record. It also sits too deep into its cradle in the home position.
The plastic cradle/holder that the arm sits on has been glued onto the deck surface 1/4 too close. Sadly, my recipient of this present had to cut off the arm holder, resculp the holder and super glue it back in the correct place, 1/4 inch further on the deck.
If you can purchase this and try it that day, whether it's a present or not, then keep returning until you have the one perfect Toshiba model where the factory glued it in the actual correct place. ( Make sure you have an album to test arm function with )
Otherwise, purchase warranty!

Does not play 12" records in its current state

Purchased this turntable and found that with 12" discs, the tone arm does not drop onto the lead-in of the album disc. The tone arm lock is too close to the turn table itself and the tone arm slides off the lock and lands half way onto the first song. Very poorly constructed! Do they NOT test the devices before packaging them and selling them?? Very bad form! I would not recommend this player!

turntable not turn

ordered online get it very quick. excited to open it, but sad to see the turntable not turn. have to return it next day immediately. first time get a product in japanese brand but does not work. really affect the brand TOSHIBA with negative way in my mind...

Don’t waste your money

Unit was broken and missing parts. The automatic play did not work. Tried troubleshooting, but turntable would not play the LP.
Sadly I had to return it to BestBuy.

Pretty unreliable

Skips a lot, makes it seem like my vinyls are wobbly. Also very poor Bluetooth connection, constantly cuts out, lots of static.

There was nothing but problems with this product. Speakers were staticky. No matter what speakers we hooked up to it. The needle arm misses the first part of the record because the base gets in the way. Best buy would not help me do an exchange because it was past the 30 days even though it was covid circumstances.
