Used to have an earlier model and needed a new one after I moved. Wonderful for cleaning and removing water from vegetables just picked in the garden. Also for saving salad for days.

I've had one for years that finally bit the dust, but this new one is even better if that's possible. I am very happy and would not want to be without one of these for long. Much better than the cheaper ones out there.

Sorely disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of OXO products and love them all-especially my old salad spinner. Because the plastic bowl had gotten discolored after years of use, I was confident replacing it with a new version. This was a mistake. The inner bowl doesn’t sit securely, the top doesn’t fit snuggly, and the release tab on the plunger is awkward (and makes a crazy loud snap when released). After spinning, the lettuce is still wet enough to ruin the dressing unless I dry it by hand. I’m so glad I kept my old, discolored, but perfectly reliable spinner.
