[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this salad spinner! I’ve been on the fence about getting a salad spinner for a while now, and this OXO salad spinner really delivers. Not only is it beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing, but the functionality and was of use is superb. Every piece fits together so well, one or two pumps of the plunger has the basket spinning fast. The brake is so efficient it almost instantly stops the rotation. All in all a well designed product. It does take up a bit of space because of it’s size, but the plunger locks down in place so you could stack it if need be. It is a welcome addition to my kitchen!

Time Saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a fan of tons of different tools for every little kitchen job but I could not live without this salad spinner. I have owned an OXO salad spinner for decades and have used it for many different foods. Spin lettuce dry in seconds! Wash your veggies and spin dry before you chop them. Same for berries-yes even delicate raspberries won’t crush when using this spinner. I love the new design. I have rheumatoid arthritis and even when my hands are hurting I can still use the spinner because of the large flat button you use to make it spin. And the bowl and strainer are a much thicker material than my old one. Very sturdy. Don’t hesitate to get this most valuable addition to your kitchen.

Great for Chopped salads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently purchase pre-made salads due to my busy schedule. Even though they say they are "ready to eat", I still rinse them. With my 'old' salad spinner, the small pieces slip through the holes in the colander. The OXO Salad Spinner took care of that problem by creating a basket that has smaller holes in it so I don't loose any of the bits in the outer bowl. The best part of this spinner is the spinner handle locks down flat for storage, unlike my previous spinner where the spinner handle didn't allow for stacking. OXO knocks it out of the park ---- AGAIN!!

I add in dressing and other chunky ingredients like cherry tomatoes and radish slices. It’s a perfect product to make your whole family start eating healthier!

Great Salads Fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d been hesitant to purchase a salad spinner, mainly because I have a small kitchen and wasn’t sure it would be worth giving up the extra storage space. After making some major dietary changes, I decided to try it out and I’m pleased that I did. The salad spinner makes meal prep so much easier. I simply rinse my salad greens, toss them in the bowl, and with a few pumps, my food is clean and dry. Leftovers can easily be stored in the unit’s bowl and placed in the fridge. The salad spinner is well built, sturdy, and easy to use. Highly recommend.

Salad spinner worth taking up cabinet space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last salad spinner I owned was a mini size I had registered for at the time of my wedding. Years later my kids confiscated it for their play kitchen...proving a point: everyone needs a salad spinner! It’s a useful tool, saving me counter space and wasting paper towels laying out to dry lettuce. The main negative is that it does take up cabinet space, but having a spinner back in my life reminded me its worth it. It makes cleaning of all greens easier and in turn our family eats more. The strainer portion on this model is particularly sturdy and could be used for draining and rinsing other food as well.

Great Kitchen Tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my eye on this product for literally a couple of years!! I was undecided thinking it was just a hype, but I absolutely LOVE it! I couldn’t believe how much water actually stays on fruits and vegetables only after rinsing. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that’s undecided, it functions as described and I think it’s worth the investment. You do need ample space as it is quite large. This product comes in 3 pieces. The insert comes apart and the best thing is the bowl can be used to serve salads, fruit, etc. Kids will definitely love using this as it’s also entertaining spinning food. I would’ve given this product 5 stars but it looks like the rubber grip on the bottom of the bowl and only in certain areas might be wearing a little. I would definitely purchase this again!

No More Soggy Salad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Salad Spinner has quickly become an essential part of my daily meal prep, saving not only time but ensuring I no longer have soggy salad! I like to have a salad every day either for lunch or as part of my dinner. I usually purchase salad in a bag that has lettuce, carrots, and red cabbage. Even though the bag says it’s pre-washed, I prefer to wash it again to make sure that it’s clean and free from any dirt or who knows what! Before, I got the salad spinner, I would put half the bag of salad into a colander and keep running it under water. Then dump the salad into a bowl and add the dressing. It was a constant battle to try and get out as much water as I could it, inevitably there was always excess water clinging to the salad. To make matters worse, the holes in the colander are so wide that some of carrots and cabbage would slip through and end up in my sink! So, I just started using the OXO Salad Spinner and I cannot believe how much better my salad tastes because it’s now free from excess water. As an added bonus, because the strainer basket has narrow slits to let the water pass through, I no longer lose bits and pieces of carrots and cabbage in the sink! It works great washing my grapes and strawberries too! I just do a few simple pushes of the easy grip pump, to quickly spin the water away, and the built in “brake” is a cool feature as well! Luckily, the plastic bowl has a non-skid surface so it doesn’t go flying off of the counter! That would not be a pretty sight!
