While attempting to brew a second cup the machine would freeze even when adequate water, beans and ground cup was not full. Returned the machine and am searching for another product

This product is compact but still has nice features and makes great tasting espresso. I compare the taste of this products espresso to a more expensive Saeco product that my parents own and the taste is comparable but at a much lower price and takes up less space on the kitchen counter.
Pros: compact, great tasting coffee
Cons: error/warning lights difficult to understand
This is the 4th Saeco Espresso machine I have experienced. It produces the best espresso of the previous models. Pluses: 1) The spent pods are nice and compact; 2) nice crema; 3) Froths milks quickly 4) perfect small size for 1 or 2 people 5)easily makes coffee or espresso with press of button; Minuses: 1) Drip tray is sectioned into 6 small compartments towards the back of machine and 1 large in front. This makes it cumbersome to hand wash / clean daily; 2) unlike other models, can use only whole beans; 3) coffee bean container cover have grates and screws so not easy to access container without unscrewing top.
Love this coffee maker. It's small, so you have to fill it with water frequently and dump the grounds, but that's what you expect based on its size. It makes a tasty, creamy cup of coffee...and quickly.
This espresso machine is a small foot print on your counter. You can make a latte if you like. I use mine to make a great cup of coffee - every time I use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like this 3-in-1 Espresso machine. Some minor inconveniences and it takes time learn how to use it, but once you do, it's easy to use and maintain.

I got this as a Christmas gift and have been using it daily for just over two months now.
What I like about this machine is that it's compact and doesn't take up too much counter room. I also like the 3-in-1 feature that it offers. Having a fresh cup of coffee, a shot of Espresso or a hot Latte at the touch of a button is great, but this machine has are some minor quirks, and needs a few improvements to make it worth the cost. For the price, I think we should feel confident that we'll have it for a few years, but it's already starting to make the occasional odd sound, so I question whether it will last for more than a year, if that.
If you don't monitor the coffee bean container, the machine will still make coffee for you, only minus the coffee beans! It's also not made to easily switch out the coffee beans for another type of beans.
The water tank is small, and I find that I have to fill it up every day. We had to buy smaller mugs because a regular size mug does not fit well under the coffee spout, unless you remove the drip tray. I make about 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day using the smaller mugs - 2 small mugs is about the same as 1 regular cup of coffee. My partner uses it only occasionally.
I'm also constantly emptying the drip tray, because the machine goes through an automatic rinsing cycle a few minutes after it's used, which fills the drip tray quickly.
When emptying the coffee grounds container, and returning it into position, sometimes the container pops itself out, which means it's time to clean it.
If the machine stops in the middle of a brewing cycle, i.e. if it runs out of water or the grounds container pops out, then you're left with a partial cup of coffee, and you have to start again to brew a full cup.
When I cleaned the machine for the first time, it took about 15-20 minutes. I was following the instruction booklet, which needs improvement too, and being extra careful handling the parts. The machine itself seems durable, but some of the parts could easily break if you're not careful. The cleaning process itself wasn't too complicated.
After two months of use, the machine is signalling that it needs a descaling. I didn't realize that I had to buy a specific descaling solution, which is what prompted me to visit the web site and write a review.
Overall, I do like this 3-in-1 Espresso machine. It takes a bit of time to figure out how to use it, and learn what all the flashing lights mean, but once you do, it's easy to use and maintain. I can deal with the minor quirks, and if it lasts for more than a year, then I'd be extremely happy and I'd say that it's worth the price. If it breaks down in the next few months, then I'll be back to let you all know.
Pros: compact, 3-in-1 feature for coffee espresso or latte, nice looking design, easy for older kids to use
