High powered blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a new KitchenAid blender, so I had to see how it made pina coladas! I used frozen pineapple, and even at half power, this blender turned the ingredients into smooth perfection. The blender is super powerful, you can even make nut butter with it! This blender features a measuring cap built in the lid, which is helpful so you won't over pour the rum. Clean up is a breeze by putting hot water and a squirt of dish soap, then blend until clean. The base is very heavy and sturdy. The container is made of bpa free plastic, and not glass, which I would've preferred. I imagine they used plastic to keep the overall weight lower. The handle on the container feels slightly flimsy if the container is at its 60oz capacity. The appearance is very smooth, modern, and streamlined. For all the power this blender has, the sound level is very reasonable, even at max speed. I'm very happy with this blender; it is a solid investment!

Leaking

Couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I thought this blender was throwing grease. Everyone I was using it to make fruit smoothies. Then switched to chocolate banana and it changed to looking like hunks of chocolate. So I really cleaned and found that the rubber casket was not in place. It was loose. Can’t tighten it so now it leaks constantly. What to do?

This thing is HUGE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this blender from Kitchenaid (free) as a substitute for the higher quality cookware set we were supposed to receive (free) as a rebate when purchasing our induction range. Instead, we received a lesser quality cookware set and this huge and heavy blender as a surprise. We already had a blender that fits in our small kitchen and works fine. Now we have this monstrosity on my counter that I honestly haven't used other than testing by crushing ice. I'm sure it's a fine blender if you have room for it. Honestly, I'm planning to give it away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I decided it was time to upgrade to a higher end blender, I looked at all the options and the Kitchen Aid stood out. I own many Kitchen Aid products already and have always been extremely happy with the quality and durability of their products. I figured no brainer worth a shot, and I am so happy I did.This thing is truly amazing. Everything I have made so far in the blender has been incredible from smoothies to margaritas. It is super easy to clean and added bonus all attachments are dishwasher safe. The variable speed works beautifully to accomplish desired consistency with whatever you are blending. The supplied recipe book has a lot of delicious looking ideas I can't wait to try. This blender really does rock.

AMAZING! We made peanut butter last weekend and it's incredible. This is one of those products you buy once every 5-10 years and I would for sure recommend this blender. Ton of power, easy to clean and just a durable,versatile machine. Nice one KitchenAid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid High Performance blender is awesome. I expected great milkshakes and got them. I had high hopes for silky, creamy smoothies and got those too (even the ones with greens!). Perfect margaritas every.single.time. What I didn’t expect was the versatility of the KitchenAid High Performance Blender. I used it to make hummus and it had such a fine consistency - so good and just perfect. I used it to make a pesto - the different settings and high powered motor made short work of the almonds and parsley and garlic and chunks of cheese. I make vinaigrettes and dressing and sauces that I never would have considered. KitchenAid has given me the keys to a sports car after driving a hoopty mobile for years. The feeder tool helps ensure you get every iota of food mixed perfectly. The motor is powerful when you need to pull out all the stops but can also be fine tuned to gently incorporate. This performs like one of the fancy machines I’ve seen on Chopped or other chef shows and it makes everything easier and just plain tastes better. Purée, mix, blend and chop your way to better dinners at home - that is what the KitchenAid High Performance Blender can help you do. Highly, highly recommend. (And don’t sleep on the margaritas, folks)

It takes up less room than the Torrent and is not as noisy. it is sleek, very easy to operate, has variable speeds on the turn knob and pulse toggle type switch. it blends and purees easily and quickly due to its high power. There is a removable 'drip tray' under the jug so that any drops are collected - it is easy clean as is the rest of the body. The best part is it has a 10 year warrentee - clearly they stand behind the machines they make
The colour matches my kitchen fittings. Thank you Kitchenaid - love it!
