GOOD.....It is all metal except for the control knobs. Bad....it sounds like a jet plane when on low speed and a space rocket when set on high speed. This must be because of the deficient design of it 5 blades. Make sure there is no evidence of physical damage, because if one of the blades is out of alignment then it shakes like a train.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're glad to hear that you appreciate the all-metal construction and overall durability of the fan. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding the noise level and vibration. We understand how important smooth and quiet operation is, and we can certainly understand your concerns when the fan is louder than expected or becomes unbalanced.
Your feedback is valuable to us, and we're grateful that you shared both the strengths and areas for improvement. Thank you for choosing Lasko and for providing your experience with the product.
