I have those cameras for almost a year, the cameras only records 10 seconds and goes to sleep and does not record again for some time.. After many call to the support team Im still experiencing the same problem. The support team keeps asking to do tests with the cameras but the problem never gets fixed. The 4 pack cameras that I have purchased has bee really frustrating. Money in the rubbish
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the experience with our Swann WiFi Camera. Once an event is triggered, the camera records for a minimum of 10 seconds, and if movement continues will keep recording for up to one minute per event. In order to preserve battery life, this camera is designed to be in a sleep state for most of the day, only waking to record when the PIR sensor detects a warm moving object. This ensures that you only get relevant recordings and push notifications, rather than hours of wasted footage with nothing happening. If this type of camera was able to continuously record, the battery would be flat in a matter of hours.
Swann offers many other wired security camera kits that are able to offer continuous recording to large hard drives that are designed for this purpose.
If we are unable to get your unit to work, we offer a 1-year warranty or 18-months with valid registration.

Seem to be working so far

I haven’t had them but a few weeks but they seem to be working as advertised. I’d like to see a few changes in the app(s). I also have a pan, tilt, zoom camera for inside. It requires a second app. I understand that the cameras have different purposes and capabilities but it still stands to reason that it would be possible to coordinate them from one app.

Great Cameras

I love my cameras however am very disappointed that when the last app update was completed in June this year, I lost my option to cast the picture from my IOS phone to my TV. It would be fantastic if this issue was rectified to obtain the full value of this system in which is one of the fantastic features I purchased this system for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed

Just put these in 3 weeks ago and am still having trouble with them. They go offline all the time because they run out of charge or the wi fi signal is not strong enough. Have spent a lot of money on technicians adding extra cables and internet router and boosters to try and up the signal. They still go offline everyday, dozens of times a day. Not very happy. Wouldn't recommend them.
