While I haven’t permanently installed all 4 cameras, I setup 2 inside pointing out windows. Video quality is great even at night. Setup was a breeze although I’ve only used my iPhone with it and not my Windows pc as of yet. While the mobile app has basic functions, it could use improvements and more functionality. I’d recommend this system. 4 stars, not 5 due to mobile app.

Did not come with owners manual. Just a quick start guide. So no information on all the settings.
Easy to set up. Installation was easy, picture quality very good. Happy with my choice.

having issues repeatedly for email alerts and push. go months with no issues for email alerts then all the sudden it stops. Input same information and test page shows invalid user name or password.or invalid server error... the on push, i get notified and all it shows is live view when i click the push notification

Recent excessive use of the Swann Auto-email service by a small number of users sending many thousands of emails a day resulting in nearly 130 million individual emails every month, has resulted in our service provider suspending the service until the email volume can be reduced to acceptable levels.

Do not recommend this product at all

My Stepdad purchased this for my Mum about 8 months ago and it was installed in early January. You can see the live view perfectly and then 3-4 minutes later the DVR turns itself off and disconnects from the screen and you have nothing. Eventually (no set timing.. just when it feels like it) it will start back up and the 3-4 minutes later it's gone again. Because the DVR isn't running you have no access to anything on the app. This has been going on for 6 months and nothing will make this system stay running as it should. Can't express how disappointed in this product we are.

It's new to me. There was a little complex to me to install and configure. after a few times tried to find out and call in for help. finally I can monitor and enjoy it.
