Great, fast, easy to use printer. Does it all. Wireless set up was a snap & I am not a computer person. Love printing from iPhone & iPad.

Wonderful Features but Unreliable

PRINTER HAS WONDERFUL FEATURES BUT THE GEARS FOR THE PAPER FEEDING MESSED UP AFTER ONLY 9 MONTHS. BROTHER CUSTOMER SERVICE SENT A REFURBISHED ONE BY UPS ONE-DAY DELIVERY BUT NOW I AM NERVOUS IF THIS ONE WILL HOLD-UP.

I purchased this printer new, thinking I would get a full toner cartridge included. Unfortunately Brother sent it wih a cartridge with barely enough to print just under 800 copies. When I let Brother know they wanted me to call then have someone call back to "troubleshoot" the problem. The problem is simple the cartridge was short and do something about it. I don't have time to talk to someone who may or may not believe what I am saying. they lost me for the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Though the first year of this product was great. The second year was not so good. I put in a new drum unit and though it works the unit still has the error message on the printer. It stopped taking a number of pages to scan from my computer, so now I can only use the USB port for longer scans. We have had issues with stripping also. We had hoped for better use of it in the second year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
