Excellent Choice for Home/Office Wireless setup

Hardwired to the business section , and wirelessly connnected to a home desktop and a home laptop.
I spent more time worrying about if I'd be able to set this thing up. I WAS DONE with all 3 in about 15 minutes. Everything works flawlessly, first time & every time. I'm a happy camper, and so is my wife.

Great product

I like the printer and recommend it as very reliable printer.
The only downside is the management of toner cartridges. Hard to find the number of copies printed. In addition it just stops when it gets low on toner. No warning. I was able to cover the hole on the side with tape to get a few hundred additional copies out to finish a project and order a replacement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Meets or exceeds all expectations

Simply put, the HL5470DW which replaced an older but still serviceable Brother laser is great in all respects.
The duplex feature is fast and the copy is great.
I would recommend this printer to anyone who uses it in a small office as I do.

Too Early to Tell

Have only had this product for a few months. Decided to give Brother another try. I will reserve my final opinion until I have had this printer at least a little over a year. The last 2 I have had had been great up until that point and then they just start getting fuzzy and or showing up error signs asking for replacement cartridges and toner which I have done and they still wont work properly. This all happens about 12 to 18 months in. I am trying one more time. If this doesn't work I will go back to HP which I had no problems with ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I normally do not review anything. When I was looking for a printer I read review after review and most of them were pretty negative. If there are any like that for this printer, they are unfounded. It is sturdy. It is compact. The wireless was easy. The sound level good. The toner use good. The pages per minute astounding. All I hope for is that a product does what the packaging says it will. It does live up to their hype.

WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK OF A PRINTER THAT HAS THE SPECS YOU SOUGHT AT PURCHASE. IT IS RELIABLE AND DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSE TO DO. WHO WANT'S SURPRISES WHEN YOU HIT THE PRINT BUTTON?

I purchased this printer on the hopes that it would work quickly, cheaply and well. So far, I am very pleased. I have only used the printer for a month, so time will tell if it lasts well. It is only twice as expensive as my last printer and about 4 times more productive, worth the extra chips.

HL-5470DW What I've been looking for!

I've searched for a printer that was fast, operated wirelessly and had to duplex. I found it all in one affordable unit. Very well satisified with setup and ease of use. Print quality is great. Being able to use other computers with one printer is a big plus, no external wires.
