my boss bought one priniter last year. He just bought another a few months ago since we are expanding.
We are wireless and we can print from our smart phones. Really cool application.
The duplex feature saves paper too.

Replacement MFC

I purchased this machine to replace a Brother 8480 that worked flawlessly for over 100,000 pages of printed material. I would have bought the same machine if I could have done so. So far this machine - which is as close as I could get to the 8480 - is performing just as flawlessly (maybe 500 pages so far). It is even better in terms of reliability for FAXing since I was able to slow the modem down a touch to accommodate my lousy phone line. My only concern is that it does not seem to be built as robustly as the 8480. Time will tell.

Best Purchase Ever

The reason is MFC-8710DW is the best purchase ever because unlike inkjet, it does not dry up, secondly the speed and print resolution is very good. I am very pleased and recommend to others.

Very Happy with Brother MFC-8710DW

I purchased MFC-8710DW couple of months ago. I was having difficulty installing the driver on my computer. I called the customer service and they walked me through. Driver, wireless networking was installed like with such ease. I was very impressed with the professionalism and curtious service provided by the customer service rep.
I would highly recommend that you go with this product or any product Brother makes. I know I'll for sure next time if I have any printing needs.

Flat bed door was not fixed therefore I return the printer,& waiting for another one.

BEST PRINTER I HAVE USED SO FAR. FAST, QUIET, DUPLEX PRINTING IS GREAT. ALOT OF PRINTER FOR THE MONEY.

I was looking for a fast printer and primarily a fast scanner with PDF compression for filing and emailing. I was told this unit had everything needed and would accomplish this automatically upon scanning. Printing quality was good, extra software to buy and steps needed to accomplish my compression priority, and it was loud. I also thought it was odd and not able to set for the home screen to return after use. Showing the clock and date. Not a big factor just odd.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
