Versatile Workhorse

I work from home and I'm using this mostly as a printer and scanner. It scans and prints very quickly. I love that I can also print/scan duplex which saves time and paper. The wireless feature from my phone and iPad are a great feature. I've had many different brother mfc products over the years and they just keep getting better and better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Machine

I really love this printer. It's fast and very efficient. I spent more than I intended to when I bought it, but, I believe it was a good investment. I've owned a Brother's typewriter and a sewing machine for years and they are still working. Brother is Reliable.

I bought my MFC-8710DW January 2014 for the opening of my Life Insurance business. I haven't been disappointed yet. It has kept up with the demand of faxing, copying as well as scanning documents to be emailed. All paperwork is crystal clear. also, all my computers link to it easy as pie. I would recommend this brother to anyone just starting out or already in business.

worst machines ever

Our company has 2 mfc-8710dw and they are the worst fax machines we have ever purchased. The print on one is terrible & the other one crinkles like every other copy .

Disappointed

Printer works great but the Wi-Fi disconnects EVERY time the computer is shut down over night. Brother support claims there is no fix!
We have to reset the printer every morning and re-enter the Wi-Fi connection using the outdated key pad to enter (ie: for #1 press #1 button it rotates to the number)

I've had my MFC-8710DW for over 4 years now. It has always worked great. I am currently thinking about upgrading to a Brother color laser printer.
