Fuser unit?

I like the MFC-8710DW and the MFC-8910DW, the quality and speed is good but the fuser unit went bad around 50K copies on two of these printers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product fits the need of our small business. We love the fact that it is an all-in-one so therefore the machine gets maximum usage. Overall great product.

Does not keep a wireless network connection. Drops the connection constantly and requires full reconfiguration which usually fails. Then you have to reinstall the archaic software which takes 40 minutes of your valuable time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRINTER. It will suck your time and patience dry!!!

Copies and prints really well. Great Price for a Laser.
So far so good. There are a few qwirks.

I have to press the start button when I copy differrent size papers when it changes paper sizes.
I have an extra paPER tray.
I few issues setting up the FAX to coordiante with my answering machine. It needs to have the ability to take faxes from both types of rings on the telephone. I worked through all of these issues.
Still trying to figure out the scanner.

This was one of the best investment we have done. We up-graded from MFC-7820 which worked good for us. What an improvement, response speed, quality, functions all much much better. This is a great one for small office like ours.

I'm waiting for my 3rd printer in 3 months, 1st one went bad after 6 weeks 2nd one after about the same amount of time. Different problems each one! Now their replacing it with a refurbrished printer..oh boy what a BIG mistake this was!

This MFC replaced another name brand multi function printer. This is quieter, faster, has much better print quality. The large flat bed scanner/copier is a real plus. And it does two sided printing. What a savings that will be on paper.
Overall, I am very pleased. Set up was just plug, connect and go. Truly simple. I think it is the most bang for the buck. It is feature rich. A great value.
