Overall this backpack is great, lots of pockets, great color choices (my 8 year old loves the purple unicorn). It is easy for her to carry. The negative is that this is advertised as having a laptop sleeve and it really doesn’t. There is a non-padded pouch that can hold a tablet, but it’s not designed for a laptop.

We purchased a loop backpack when our son was in pre-K, after the character backpack we originally got him, broke within the first few weeks of school. That was 11 years ago, the Sierra backpack held up through daily use, stuffed to the brim! It was a no brainer to replace the old backpack with the same brand. Great quality!

I bought this backpack with my 8 year old autistic child in mind. It has main compartment that is good size spot for school binder/folder, lunch bag, and headphones that he carries with him daily. The front compartment for a laptop is perfect for when he brings home his chrome book as well as extra clothes
